Paryapt

Paryapt Solar, a 50MW (70 MWp) solar plant in India is being jointly constructed by UPC Solar Asia Pacific and Ayala Corporation’s energy platform, AC Energy. Located in Amreli district of Gujarat state, Paryapt Solar has an estimated project cost of US$ 36 million. The construction of the solar farm started last year, and is expected to start its power generation by April -2021.  Paryapt Solar secured a 20-year loan from the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), to be funded through a 75:25 debt-to-equity financing scheme.  Paryapt Solar will supply energy for 25 years to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam, Ltd. (GUVNL), which has one of the highest credit rating among off-takers in India. The project features high efficiency Mono-PERC solar module from Jinko Solar and central inverters from Sineng.
