GENERAL OVERVIEW
The 81 MW Caparispisan project is located in Pagudpud, Illocos Norte, Philippines and was completed and energized in November 2014. The project utilizes 27 Siemens SWT-3.0-101 turbines. The project called for the construction of a 62 km transmission line constructed between the site and a substation located in Laoag, the capital of Illocos Norte. The project was developed under the Philippines Feed-in Tariff program.
Located over 625 hectares, the Caparispisan project is located on the gently rolling hills of Pagudpud’s northern peninsula. Over 500 temporary jobs were created during construction. Additionally, full-time and part-time jobs have been created during its operations phase.
