Peter Armstrong

Education
Peter holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (with
honours) from Canterbury University and Bachelor of
Science degree from Lincoln University. He is also
a registered Chartered Mechanical Engineer with the
Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Summary
Peter has spent most of his career in the area of
wind resource engineering and assessment. He has been
involved in such activities as high-level technical
review, project management, and contract negotiations
of large-scale wind farms. Most recently, Peter held
a technical lead role for the Wind Group of a large
international power consulting firm based in the UK,
supervising and supporting wind engineering staff,
managing project teams for technical due-diligence,
contract negotiations, energy yield assessments and
regular involvement with business development activities.
Peter’s project experience includes the management,
supervision and wind resource assessment of several
projects across Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region.
In recent work, Peter has advised clients on a range
of wind power technical matters for large scale developments
in Italy, Turkey and Morocco. |
